Dr. Josh Munson

DDS, MD

Dr. Josh Munson is a native North Carolinian who grew up in Reidsville, NC. Upon graduating from his Oral Surgery specialty training, he knew he wanted to practice and raise his family in North Carolina. The opportunity to work in Statesville, NC, occurred while Dr. Munson volunteered his surgical skills on a mission trip. While helping underserved adults and children with dental care on the mission trip, Dr. Munson met and worked alongside Dr. Neuwirth. The shared passion for helping and serving others was an excellent fit for Dr. Munson to team up with Drs. Brown and Neuwirth. Dr. Munson is eager to share his expertise and empathy with Hickory, Morganton, and Statesville patients.

Dr. Munson attended UNC Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies and UNC School of Dentistry for dental school. He then completed medical school, internship, and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Munson has special interests in dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and facial trauma.

Dr. Munson is delighted to live and practice in central North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys. Dr. Jennifer Lombrano

DDS

Dr. Lombrano is originally from Washington State but spent most of her childhood and adult life in rural Alaska. After graduating high school in Barrow, Alaska, she enlisted in the Navy where she was trained in building underwater explosives. She used her military education benefits to attend St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, earning her degree in Biology. After college, she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and earned her D.D.S. in 2002 then returned to rural Alaska to serve as an active duty general dentist with the Indian Health Service. As a general dentist, she frequently traveled to remote villages with mobile dental equipment to perform extractions and oral surgery procedures where dental care was otherwise unavailable.

In 2004, Dr. Lombrano was selected to attend a two year Advanced General Practice Residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. During her residency, she expanded her skills and love for oral surgery and was accepted into Oral Surgery Residency with the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC.

Since 2006, she has been practicing in oral surgery and is passionate about creating an environment where patients feel safe, comfortable, and have a positive experience. She retired from the Indian Health Service in 2021 and relocated to North Carolina to be closer to her five grandkids.
